Trigger Point Injection (TPI)

Trigger point injection (TPI) may be an option for treating pain in some patients. TPI is a procedure used to treat painful areas of muscle that contain trigger points, or knots of muscle that form when muscles do not relax. Many times, such knots can be felt under the skin. Trigger points may irritate the nerves around them and cause referred pain, or pain that is felt in another part of the body.

Supartz

SUPARTZ (also called a viscosupplement) is a non-surgical, non-pharmacologic therapy knee osteoarthritis. SUPARTZ therapy can help relieve your pain, improve your mobility, and get you back to your normal activities. Hyaluronan is a natural substance found in your joint cartilage and in the synovial fluid that fills your joints. In the knee joint, hyaluronan acts like a lubricant and a cushion in the knee.

When you have knee osteoarthritis, the hyaluronic acid (HA) in the synovial fluid in your knee joint becomes diluted and breaks down-reducing it's natural properties. This is associated with increased inflammatory processes that can degrade the cartilage in your knee.

This inflammation causes pain receptors to begin firing during normal movement. The pain tends to cause knee osteoarthritis patients to limit movement, which in turn leads to further deterioration of joint structures and synovial fluid quality because movement is required for normal synovial homeostasis. This process can become a vicious cycle as the disease becomes progressively worse and quality of life is severely compromised for patients. We also do knee therapy in office for the best results.

B12

Vitamin B12 is a vitamin. It can be found in foods such as meat, fish, and dairy products. It can also be made in a laboratory.

Vitamin B12 is used for treating and preventing vitamin B12 deficiency, a condition in which vitamin B12 levels in the blood are too low. It is also used to treat pernicious anemia, a serious type of anemia that is due to vitamin B12 deficiency and is found mostly in older people. Vitamin B12 is also used for memory loss; Alzheimer's disease; boosting mood, energy, concentration, and the immune system; and slowing aging.

B12 MIC

The vitamin cocktail included in the B12 + MIC Fat-Burner shots are compounds that enhance liver function and increase the flow of fats and bile from the liver and gallbladder. By definition, MIC shots contain lipotropic substances that decrease the deposit, or speeds up the removal of fat within the liver. The key amino acids used to make these shots are: Vitamin B12, Choline, Methione, and Inositol. We also add Chromium

Vitamin B12 is essential for helping to form new, healthy cells in the body. It also boosts energy, helping to increase activity level.

Choline supports the health of the liver in its processing and excretion of chemical waste products within the body. Moreover, it is required for the transport and metabolism of fats and cholesterol within the body, which is important for the healthy support of the endocrine, cardiovascular and hepatic systems.

Methione is one of the sulphur-containing amino acids (cysteine & cystine are others) and is important for many bodily functions. It acts as a lipotropic agent to prevent excess fat build up in the liver and the body, is helpful in relieving or preventing fatigue and may be useful in some cases of allergy because it reduces histamine release. Patients with a Sulfa allergy should not take this injection.

Inositol, a nutrient belonging to the B vitamin complex, is closely associate with choline. It aids in the metabolism of fats and helps reduce blood cholesterol. Inositol participates in the action of serotonin, a neurotransmitter known to control mood and appetite.

Chromium helps your body metabolize food containing fats and amino acids. It also can help promote good health related to normal blood sugar. Your body needs chromium to heal and for normal growth.
